Ok, so its obvious you either work for them or have some relationship with them. For the record, I know a little about how CC transactions work. Yes, there is fraud, but only slightly higher than the regular retail sector.

Your comment sounds exactly like the company line. I would like to know how it was decided that because a company doesn't make a profit from a product, good customer service should not be given to customers who buy that product? Why not use the same logic on products you do make a profit on? After all, you believe the purchase "is likely fraud". Why not assume all transactions, especially the ones you make a profit on, potentially fraud? Every transaction should be verified prior with the form.
The biggest problem I have with this stupid policy is that it was done after money was exchanged. If they wanted me to prove who I was before they handed over the merchandise, then should of asked for that form before they FRAKING took my money. "They’re just trying to protect themselves" MY ARSE!

I have been doing business on the Internet for over 10 years and I frankly have never heard or seen such CRAP. You can try to justify it all you want, its still a BS policy from a company who has lost a customer for life.

Well I hardly think your crusade is fair or logical. If you know anything about the business then you know that the voucher you tried to buy is simply a resold alpha-numeric code that the company buys from either VUE or Prometric and resells to you for cost. They make no money on the sale.

Then if you know how much credit card theft is on the internet, you would begin to understand why they require that form. They make no money off your purchase AND your purchase on the internet is likely fraud. Now I'm not suggesting yours was fraud but internet purchases are multiple times more likely to be fraud than face to face transactions.

So cut the company some slack. They're just trying to protect themselves from being take advantage of on a zero profit transaction.

Update:
I tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt and complied with their wishes. Last night I faxed over their stupid Credit Card Authorization form, complete with a copy of my credit card and my driver's license. What I got for my efforts is more ineptitude.
This morning I get an email from "Customer Service" stating that they could not read the entire Credit Card number from my copy so I would have to re-fax. Keep in mind, they already have my money.
After several calls to the billing department and speaking to someone there direct, I finally gave up. I just want my money back. Its just not worth the overwhelming bull sh&87t.

I agree with your thoughts, but I don't think it is "right wing nuts" he has to worry about. I think some heads should roll for security lapses in the protection of the President. I think we should use all the resources available to protect him, and it should not be hard to weed out the incompetence, because lord knows if something did, we have have VP Biden as president.

Big C, Welcome to the REAL world! Isolationism doesnt work. If you don't look out for your interests who will? I agree we don't need to be the big brother of the world, but if not the USA who? russia china? Its' funny but I read that the Iraq and Afghan people want us in their countries. They see the sacrifices that I men and women in the military are making, and they see progress in thier countries.
And has for to being held hostage, How many times do you repeat the word "again" before you have to go and be a FREAKING OCCUPING NATION? .And after reading your blog I can summrize that you have pacifist tendencies. YOUVE been drinkIng the Ron Paul Kool aide??
P.S Which country uses laser guide smart bombs to limit the amount of civilians killed? and which people strap bombs to there children to advance their ideology? Morals, yeah right we should be so happy that its the US's fault.

JPN,
Snap judgments? 4 months, Really? Really? Our community organizer with zero military experiance, don't listen to his appointted Generals, Suddenly he is the Rommel of the US?

AFGHAN POLICY( Its all about the Politics)
After the 911 attacks, it’s said that everyone supported George W Bush. Certainly his approval skyrocketed, but was he really supported? People forget that in NYC, tens of thousands protested his attack on Afghanistan. We forget that Sen Kennedy and other true Democrats opposed his invasion and called on him to talk to the Taliban, to give them more time to handover Bin Laden, and almost every Democrat wanted to see Al Queda hunted as a law enforcement matter rather than through the use of military force. We also forget that hundreds of thousands protested against the US in Pakistan, were arrested, and held in Pakistani prisons until the threat of revolution there subsided. In the UK the government nearly collapsed in opposition to the American invasion of Afghanistan. In Egypt and Syria mobs surrounded the American embassies and started fires. In France, the leading newspaper ran a headline that said ‘We are all Americans now,’ and while many mistakenly say that’s a sign of international support for President Bush, the theme of the article itself was really more akin to, “It’s about time the arrogant Americans suffered like the rest of us.” In the Palestinian territories people sang and danced in the streets in praise of Osama Bin Laden rather than support for President Bush.

No, the American people and the world were not united behind Bush’s war in Afghanistan. From the moment the first bomb caught a crosswind, went off target, and the Taliban claimed civilian casualties….from that moment on the world no longer supported Bush, and instead he was classed as a cowboy out of control. Then when Osama Bin Laden again defeated American intelligence and escaped into Pakistan (Dec 2001), true Democrats said Bush had acted too slowly.

Today, those same true Democrats should hope President Obama’s war in Afghanistan fails just as they hoped Bush’s war there would fail: by opposing the bombing of Afghan villages (to paraphrase Sen Obama’s own campaign rhetoric). They should oppose the illegal, pre-emptive air attacks on Pakistani villages. Just as true Democrats called for peace and talks w the Taliban to hand over Bin Laden, the same call should go out to President Obama. Just as true Democrats demanded in November 2001, “Why haven’t we gotten Bin Laden?” The same should be demanded of President Obama.

True Democrats should hope President Obama’s continuation of Bush’s Afghanistan policy (his words via the CNN Lara Logan interview) should be changed because it has failed to defeat the Taliban, Al Queda, to bring Bin Laden to justice, and to bring peace to Afghanistan. Worst of all, this administration is sending another 17,000 troops to Afghanistan, but they have no plan, no objectives, no benchmarks for success, and Congressman Jack Murtha is telling us we need another 600,000 troops for Afghanistan. The only way to get 600,000 troops into Afghanistan is to have a draft. True Democrats never accepted this kind of war strategery from President Bush, and should not accept it from President Obama.

AND P.S TO BOTH>>>>>>>>>> I HATE KOOL AIDE!!!!! LOL
